Community
The Australian air Express (AaE) family believes in the value of community. We offer our support and services to a range of charities and not-for-profit organisations every year.
In the Office
Our team of fundraisers ensure that all our staff is aware of charity days, which we mark by wearing casual clothing for a gold coin donation. Some of these charities and their fundraising days include:
Sponsorship
Our sponsorships at a glance include:
Leukaemia Foundation
AaE are proud to support the Leukaemia Foundation in their charity event The World's Greatest Shave. Through our extensive driver network, AaE donate the delivery of over 50,000 brochures to help spread the word about the World's Greatest Shave fundraising event.
Alannah and Madeline Foundation
"Thank you Australian Air Express, your support of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation's Buddy Bags Program is invaluable. It is only with your support that we can deliver Buddy Bags (backpacks full of basic essentials such as a toothbrush and underwear) to children in emergency care all across Australia". - Alannah and Madeline Foundation
Queensland Eye Bank
The Queensland Eye Bank is the busiest of five eye banks nationally and AaE donates the tranportation of eye tissue around Australia by using our time-critical Next Flight service.
"We are truly grateful for AaE's support because we wouldn't be able to do what we do without it"
Nick Nuttall, Clinical Coordinator and Manager, Queensland Eye Bank.
Australian Sports Camps
AAE helping to keep kids active
Australian Sports Camps conduct childrens' coaching camps in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in a variety of sports including cricket, football, tennis, netball and hockey.
AaE helps to keep these camps running by transporting the sports equipment to each capital city. It enables thousands of children to have plenty of sports equipment on hand and assist in their learning experience.
Helping in this way gives all the children the opportunity, whilst attending camps such as the Justin Langer Cricket Camp in Perth, or the Kevin Sheedy Football Camp in Melbourne, to have plenty of cricket and football gear to assist in their learning process.
"A great community involvement by Australian Air Express to help in the sporting education of Australian kids each year." Australian Sports Camps
