1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each general consignment will be covered under the provisions of AaE’s First Loss Cover, against risks of physical loss or damage, up to $1,000 in return for a nominated charge + GST, or as selected by an X above. (See Conditions 9 & 13 Exclusions and list of Excluded Commodities) Transit cover is not available on any prepaid items.

2. Accounts are payable within seven (7) days of Invoice/Statement.

3. In the event that trading terms are not strictly adhered to Australian air Express Pty Limited (“Australian air Express”) may charge for services already rendered at up to full published rates notwithstanding any discount or other reduction agreed to herein and/or previously given.

4. Australian air Express at any time including during the periods of the agreement can amend or withdraw rates, services, terms & conditions on written notification Including without limitation the imposition of a fuel or other surcharge.

5. Charges will apply as per service level nominated on the consignment note. If no service level is nominated overnight rates will apply.

6. Cubic rates apply for light bulky freight. AaE calculates its cubic charges by multiplying, height x width x depth in metres and multiplying by the agreed cubic charge rate.

7. A per kilogram surcharge will be levied on excess weight on prepaid products. Prepaid products are not refundable, and all products provided to the applicant are for the applicants use solely and shall not be provided to any third party.

8. An account service fee will be applicable to each invoice statement.

9. “Percentage off” is calculated by reference to Australian air Express’s current published rates.

10. All rates for perishable consignments are quoted Airport to Airport, unless otherwise agreed.

11. A charge will be levied for each physical search for a Proof of Delivery requested that is more than 3 months old. Proof of Delivery will be constituted by a copy of consignment note signed by the Receiver or a copy of the driver run sheet signed for and on behalf of the Receiver.

12. Each item of dangerous goods consigned will attract a dangerous goods handling surcharge.

13. A fee will be charged for each unsuccessful delivery as a result of the Senders or Receivers default or absence.

14. Australian air Express reserves the right to refuse payment by credit card but where accepted, a credit card administration charge of 2.42 % is applied to all payments made by credit card.

15. Australian air Express’s Conditions of Carriage as per reverse of this form and consignment notes apply to all consignments. Satchels must not be used for dispatch of dangerous goods or any kind of valuables.

16. This Application is subject to final approval by Australian air Express National Office.

17. Other services provided by Australian air Express not specified in this Application will be charged at full published rates.

18. This document should be read in conjunction with the consignment note, which forms the basis of each and every contract under which goods are consigned.

19. The applicant hereby acknowledges and agrees that all the information contained in this Application for Special Rates is confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the prior written consent of Australian air Express.

20. All prices quoted in the Application for Special Rates, sundry charge list, or any uprate letter are GST exclusive, unless otherwise indicated. Please note, our systems store prices as GST exclusive to two (2) decimal points. This may result in minor rounding variations.

21. All claims under Transit Cover will be paid on the basis that if an ABN is supplied and you are registered for GST, any amount paid as a result of a claim will be GST inclusive. The applicant agrees by signing this form, to AaE issuing a recipient created tax invoice and will not issue any other tax invoice in respect of this claim.

I/We agree to the above Trading Terms and hereby authorise Australian air Express to debit my/our account with the cost of all services rendered at the applicable rates including GST and in accordance with this Application Form and Australian air Express Conditions of Carriage. This account is not transferable. I/We undertake to pay all such debits on or before the due date as shown on the Invoice/Statement of Account. If such payment is not made Australian air Express may withdraw the credit facility forthwith. Australian air Express is hereby authorised to verify the information supplied on this Application form and to discuss freely with others all information pertaining to my/our financial affairs. I have the authority to sign this application.
