Track & Trace

"Want to know where a parcel is and when it will be delivered?
Our Track & Trace system will tell you."

How does Internet Tracking work?
This page explains

Computerised Tracking
Every parcel you trust to Australian air Express will have a barcoded label. It might have been printed by our exclusive Freight Master software operated in your office, or pre-printed consignment note or a destination sticker attached to the article at the time of pick-up.

The barcode is scanned into barcode readers by our staff at various points from pick-up to delivery. If you use Freight Master, the barcode details are collected electronically at the time of pick-up on diskette or by using EDI technology. This allows our drivers to start moving your parcels sooner.

The barcode data is transmitted into the Australian air Express computers and loaded into our Track & Trace database. The system then has the latest event data stored and ready to respond to your enquiry.

The consignment tracking data for consignments is available online for about 3 months.

Tracking via the Internet
If you want to check on your consignment using the Australian air Express Internet service select Track & Trace on the AaE menu above, enter the consignment number or article number into the space provided, and press the search button.

When the search for your consignment or article number has been completed a screen showing the search results will be displayed.
