Security

Security Cameras
Security cameras are in operation at all capital city depots.

Uniforms and Identification
All AaE drivers wear the company's distinctive uniform (blue shirt and trousers with a Winter jacket) which displays the company insignia

All staff are also required to wear official, individually numbered, identification cards which display the individual's name, position in the company, and signature.

Proof of Delivery
Company policy requires signatures to be obtained, as proof of delivery, for articles delivered in Australia.

Proof of delivery requests can be obtained through our Track & Trace system by phoning our Australia-wide Customer Service number, 13 12 13, or via AaE's web site. A fee may be charged for all physical Proof of Delivery requests older than 3 months via our Customer Service centres.

Storage of goods at Post Offices when delivery cannot be effected to residential addresses
Through an exclusive arrangement with Australia Post, items which cannot be delivered to residential addresses (usually because no one is at home at the time of the delivery) may be taken to the nearest Post Office, or AaE depot, where they are held in secure storage awaiting collection. Signatures are obtained at Post Offices to establish proof of delivery. An additional redelivery charge will apply to all consignments lodged at Post Offices.

Barcode scanning informs our Track & Trace system that the consignment has been redirected to the Post Office or AaE depot. A 'Sorry We Missed You' card is left at the residence advising the consignee of the Post Office or depot from which the parcel may be collected and noting that proof of identity will be required in order to obtain the goods.
