AaE strives to conserve resources, reduce waste and eliminate or minimise it's environmental impacts. We also maintain a sound Environment Policy and Environment Management System (EMS).

Our Initiatives

At AaE we are serious about caring for the environment. Here are just a few of our initiatives:

• Degradable satchels products
• New Boeing 737 freighter aircraft - reducing our emissions
• New Domestic Freight Processing Centres
• Vigorous Carbon Emissions program - working on reducing and monitoring our aircraft fuel consumption
• Static energy project with Energetics - working on reducing our energy consumption across our workplaces
• Collaborative Waste project - reducing our waste and increasing our recycling
• Established Environmental, Health and Safety department - strong internal promotion of AaE Environment initiatives

Environment Management System (EMS)

We have an established Environmental Management System (EMS) that's consistent with the International Standard, 14001, to action the intention and vision of our Environment Policy

AaE Reporting

AaE's robust Greenhouse Management System ensures that we are aware of our footprint by measuring our carbon emissions. 

All our AaE Green initiatives are identified and reported to the Board in keeping with the Energy Efficiency Opportunity (EEO) ACT 2006.
