A co-ordinated, comprehensive approach
Working with security industry experts, AaE has implemented state-of-the-art systems, procedures and technology, and takes every precaution possible to ensure your freight is handled, stored and transported securely.
Every consignment we carry for you is automatically safeguarded in all the following ways:
- Bar code tracking
- Track and Trace information transfer
- Proof of delivery
- Complete control of transportation from pick-up to delivery
- Closed circuit TV surveillance (CCTV) and Digital Recording Systems
- 24/7 security guards at all major freight processing centres
- Secure storage of goods at post offices when deliveries to street addresses cannot be completed.
We are equally thorough when it comes to personnel:
- AaE conducts background checks on all employees and contractors — All AaE personnel carry individual photographic identification, and those handling cargo are required to wear AaE uniforms
- All AaE employees and contractors who handle air cargo are required to maintain competency in air cargo security, including awareness of criminal activity and crime prevention measures
Loss Prevention and Risk Management

AaE is an accredited Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA) under the Federal Aviation Transport Security Legislation. Our RACA Transport Security Program is approved by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government (DOI) and is among the most rigorous and highly regarded in the industry. So much so, in fact, we are now certified as a Regulated Air Cargo Agents Training Organisation (RACATO) and have Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) accreditation to provide RACA Security Training for other air cargo handling businesses.
