Qantas Grounding

**UPDATE**
As you may be aware, Qantas is now in the process of resuming normal services following the grounding of all its fleet.
AaE’s freighter network is still fully operational and is NOT affected by the dispute, however, AaE customers will experience some delays until Qantas operations return to normal on Monday 31 October.
- Qantas are in the process of resuming normal services nationally after a directive from Fair Work Australia this morning. Qantas and the unions have 21 days to reach mutual agreement and there will be no industrial action impacting Qantas services during this period.
- AaE is currently in the process of resuming normal services for freight lodged with Qantas. This is anticipated to be within the next 24 hours.
- Freight is moving throughout our network on all other services, including Qantas Link and Jetstar.
- Next Flight service - As more Qantas flights become available our Next Flight service will return to its normal capability. Please contact your local airport for a status on your booking or call AaE on 13 12 13.
- If you have made a booking for Livestock/Pets or Perishables on Qantas, please contact your AaE representative or your local airport directly for further information as there may be a delay to your specific movement.
- AaE will begin to take bookings for AVI and Livestock/Pets upon resumption of normal Qantas services.

** Please note that pick up and deliveries will be affected in Melbourne on Tuesday 1 November due to the public holiday. Airports will have reduced operating hours for customer lodgements and collections. For more information please contact your local port directly.
